This logo of Saab is completely different. The logo has a front face of a plane designed in black and white and below it is the name of the company designed in black with all capitalized letters using customized Calibri Body Bold font type.

This is the third logo of Saab. The logo has clearer elements from the 1900 Saab logo. This logo has a circle with grey outline and light blue color fill. The logo has the star and the circle elements with metallic silver border. The circle has a blue middle layer with two words, “Aktiebolaget” and “Scania-Vabis” separated by the same designed dots. The star has a neat design of a red griffin facing left wearing a white crown. The star has a design of blue bricks.
1900
This was the first official logo of Saab. The logo has a star with rectangular ends. The star is overlapped by an 8 nested circle. The first four layers are blue and white. The fifth one is a thick layer with 3 Swedish words; “Scania”, “Aktiebolaget”, and “Maskinfabriks”, in English, these words mean “Scania is a region in Southern Sweden”, “Stock Company”, and “Machine Factory”.
These words re separated by white 4 pointed dots. The next three layers are again blue and white. The last layer has white color fill and the center part of the star. The points of the star are extended outside the circle. Inside at the top the center of the star is the name of the city “Malmo”. Below this is the design of a griffin’s head wearing a crown. The griffin wearing the crown is the coat of the arms of Scania. The star has a blue inline of small vertical lines designed unequally and blue scattered dots.

This is the first logo of Saab. The logo has a metallic greyish silver oval with dark metallic grey color filling. The word “Vabis” is designed in black with all capitalized letters using a customized Times New Roman font type. This word means “Vagnfabriks Aktiebolaget i Södertälje”, in English it means “Carriage Factory Company in Södertälje”.
Saab Automobile AB was a car manufacturing company based in Sweden. The company was founded by Saab AB in 1945 and was defunct in 2016. Saab AB started to design small cars and made a model named Saab 92 but it was launched in 1949. The company merged with Scania-Vabis and after 10 years, Saab launched another model named 900.
The company became the best-seller in the 1980s. Saab was first created in 1937 and it was established as a defense and aerospace company. It made aircraft for Swedish Air Force. Saab-Scania was made an independent company as Saab Automobile AB in 1989 and this is when General Motors bought 50% of its ownership. GM sold the acquired ownership to Spyker Cars N.V in 2010.
Saab continued to fail in the market competition and it announced bankruptcy in 2011. The company was bought by NEVS (National Electric Vehicle Sweden) in 2012. In 2016, the company finally announced its license cancelation agreement between the companies which means all the rest of the cars will be named as NEVS.
There were many slogan of Saab, the most famous was “Born from Jets”.
The first Saab logo was designed by Carl Frederik Reuterswärd.
The oldest car of Saab is the 92001 model.
