Rivian or Rivian Automotive Inc is an electric vehicle manufacturing company based in America. It was founded in 2009 by R.J Scaringe. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California, USA. The company was first named as Avera Automotive or Avera Motors and its founding grounds was Rockledge, Florida. The company was renamed to Rivian in 2011. The company’s main focus was to manufacture electric and autonomous vehicles. Rivian got a good fame when it launched its first car and it was a sports car named R1. It was designed by Peter Stevens and had the features of mid-engine hybrid coupe.
The Rivian vehicles was mainly designed by Jeff Hammoud.
