Peterbilt Motors Company is a truck manufacturer based in America. It was founded in 1939 by T.A. Peterman and its headquarters is in Denton, Texas, USA. The company has been operating as PACCAR, as it was bought in 1958. Before Peterbilt, the company was known as Fageol Truck and Motor Company.
This company was bought by Peterman and was renamed to Peterbilt. Its sister division is Kenworth Truck Company. Peterman was a lumberman and always wanted to transport goods faster and smoothly. The founder purchased 30,000 acres in 1934 in Morton, Washington. He used the area to build roads and bought a fleet of trucks to catalyze the transportation system. After profiting, he purchased White Motor Company trucks which were U.S. Army grade trucks and used it for safe transportation.
