NIO Inc. is a multinational automobile manufacturing company based in China that was started in 2014 by William Li and is now headquartered in Shanghai. NIO vehicles can be seen in different parts of the world including Norway, United Kingdom, Germany, and Macau. NIO has recently expanded its sales in different parts of Europe in 2021 and as of now it has more than 1300 charging stations all over in China.
The company has also launched another brand named Onvo in 2024 and it also competed in a Formula E racing in 2014. NIO has some of the biggest investors in the world like TPG, Lenovo, Sequoia, Temasek, and Tencent. The company successfully launched its very own sports car named NIO EP9.
The slogan of NIO is “Blue Sky Coming”.
