Mercedes Benz is a commercial and luxury vehicle brand that was founded in Stuttgart, Germany in 1926 by Karl Benz. The company is traced back to 1886 but it was first marketed in 1901. The founder made the first internal combustion engine and it was under the patent of Benz Motorwagen. This project was financed by Bertha Benz dowry.

The current CEO and the chairman of the board of management is Ola Kallenius. As of 2020, the company manufactured and sold more than 2160000 vehicles. It has two more brands under its name: Mercedes Maybach and Mercedes-EQ. Hitler was the first person to have a Mercedes Benz vehicle which has bulletproof windscreens and windshields. The company also started manufacturing products for the military like DB601, DB600, and LG3000 – these are aero engines.
