Land Rover: Logo Meaning, Evolution, SVG, PNG and Company Overview

The Rover Company founded Land Rover in 1948. It was launched as vehicle to fill the gap left by the World War II jeep. In 1967, it became a separate company within British Leyland. However, after that, it saw frequent changes in ownership. BMW acquired it in 1994 and sold it to Ford. Finally, Tata Motors purchased Land Rover in 2008.

Its vehicles are in different body styles to target different types of customers or fulfill various needs. It includes pick-up trucks and luxurious twelve-seat station wagons. Land Rover provides a wide range of choices with various options.  These strong vehicles are a favorite among civilian and military forces worldwide, including the British Army and the Australian Army, and are often modified for specific needs.

Except for use in tough terrains; these vehicles also participate in motorsport.  Their vehicles compete in renowned races like the Dakar Rally and the Macmillan 4×4 UK Challenge.  Land Rover even organizes its own G4 Challenge as well for its off-road consumers. 

Land Rover is committed to environmentally friendly initiatives. The company has introduced diesel-hybrid models and eco-friendly cars. According to the company, soon it will launch full EV cars as well. It shows their commitment to creating environmentally friendly vehicles in the future.
