The foundation of the Honda Company was laid by Soichiro Honda in 1946 while creating the Honda Technical Research Institute. Meanwhile, the company was simply using the engines of old jets to power bicycles and thus automating them. Honda Motor Company Was formed in 1949 after the liquidation of Honda Technical Research Institute. Takeo Fujisawa handled the company’s financial expenses, while Soichiro Honda looked after the company’s engineering aspects. In the same year, the company launched the D-type motorbike with its frame and engine. Until 1961, the company was only making motorcycles, after achieving Grand Prix Victories, the company started making its own cars. After two years, in 1963, it launched its first 360 mini truck. In 1986, the company launched its Luxury brand Acura. After that, the company ventured into new things in 2006 Company started making its own Honda Jets.
