Carlsson was a car tuning company based in Germany. It was founded in 1989 and was closed in 2023. It tuned Mercedes Benz cars. The company was founded by Andreas and Rolf Hartge. The brothers named it Carlsson to pay homage to Ingvar Carlsson who was a Swedish rally driver. He used to race for the Mercedes Rally Teams in the 1980s. You may still see some of Carlsson’s products on Mercedes vehicles. The company was very well known for its wide variety of alloy wheels.

Carlsson was the first company to develop the world’s first adjustable suspension system for Mercedes Benz cars. This allowed drivers to have a customized control over their vehicle’s ride comfort and handling.
