Brammo or Brammo Inc. was a manufacturer of electric traction batteries and traction motors. The company was based in America and was founded in 2002 in Ashland, Oregon by Craig Bramscher. It was headquartered in Talent, Oregon, USA. The company was acquired by Polaris Industries and was renamed as Victory Empulse. The rest of the assets was purchased by Cummins in 2017. Brammo was first called Brammo Motorsports and it began in the garage of Craig Bramscher. He got the inspiration after he visited Lamborghini and Ferrari dealerships in Hollywood to find a car that would match up his comfort standards. This is because Craig was a 6.3” tall football player and this is why he decided to build a car that was up to the mark of Formula 1 cars but could fit a 6.8” person.
In a single charge, Brammo’s motorcycles can travel between 60-80 km (40-50 miles).
No, Brammo was acquired by Polaris and Cummins.
The founder Craig Bramscher was the CEO of the Brammo.
