The logo is a customized shape of a shield with a stretched bottom. It is a 2 nested shield. The first layer is in grey color and the second layer is in black color with white color fill. Inside on top of the shied in the black layer, Artega is designed in white color. The first letter is capitalized and the rest are in smallcase. The font is similar to Times New Roman. The center of the shield is divided into two parts. The left one has a tree with 10 red fruits growing on it. These fruits are basically berries and each berry represents 10 districts of Dulbruck. Delbruck’s local most consumed fruits included pears, cherries, apples, and berries. While some suggest that the 10 fruits may also be apples but we reckon that these fruits are quite similar to berries. The right part has a dog in it standing on its hind legs and facing right. The dog has its tongue out. The dog represents a specific and famous dog breed of the city called Delbrücker Schäferhund (Delbruck Shepherd Dog). This dog breed was famous in the 19th and the 20th century – these dogs were known for their herding abilities, loyalty, and intelligence. These dogs played a huge role in the agricultural development of the city. The dog in the flag is a tribute to the local culture, traditions, and community.
