Alpine is also called Societe des Automobiles Alpine SAS was founded by Jean Redele in 1955 and its headquarters is in Dieppe, France. The company is famous for manufacturing racing and sports cars. The founder was a race car driver and won the Coupe des Alpes, Sebring, Le Mans, and Mille Miglia. He won these races with the Renault 4CVs and with much experience with the car, he modified it a lot.

All this happened in 1950s and after seeing the car’s potential, civilians wanted to buy and this inspired the driver to launch the company in 1954. He named the company after winning the Coupe des Alpes. The company launched its first car in 1955 The Apline A106 which got instant fame. Since the founder was a Renault driver, he worked very closely with the company and in 2010, Alpine was bought by Renault completely.
